Fit and direction
Does my idea need to be finished before I write?
No. A direction is enough. I decide the composition, and to a degree the design and motif, so what I need first is the reason and the body, not a drawing.
Can you say no?
Yes, and I will say so rather than take work that is not a fit. Most of what I make is large multi-session projects.
Will you copy a tattoo I have seen?
No. Finished work on this site is here as evidence of how I work, not as a catalogue to order from.
Booking
Is an enquiry a booking?
No. I read the enquiry first. A date is agreed afterwards, if the project is a fit.
How do I reach you?

What does it cost, and is there a deposit?
Under review. Price, deposit, cancellation and rescheduling rules are not published until Holi confirms them.
Placement and sessions
Why can the design change on the day?
In his words: “Stencil placement can change a lot in person — sometimes the tattoo doesn't fit the placement we planned, so we re-design or find another.”
How long does a project take?
It depends on the work. Documented examples on this site run from three days to five full days in a row.
What happens after the last session?
Under review. Aftercare guidance is given at the studio; the published wording needs Holi's confirmation and a medical boundary.
Available designs
Is an available design unique?
Yes. Each one runs once and is retired after it is made.
Can I change one?
Partly. Each design lists what is fixed and what is flexible. The composition and central figure stay as I drew them.
Is a finished piece I like still available?
No. Work shown under Work has been made. Only designs listed under Available are open.
Concept Studio
Do you see everything I try?
No. Your drafts stay yours. I see only what you send to consultation — at most three concepts and one preferred direction.
Is a proof a tattoo design?
No. Proofs are low resolution, watermarked, and marked as not final. They exist to start a conversation.
Do I have to use it?
No. It is never required, and booking a consultation directly is a first-class route.
Photographs and rights
Will my tattoo be posted?
Under review. Consent for photography, for showing work on this site, and for a project story should be asked separately, and saying no must not affect the tattoo.
